Ethnic Vibrance Dog Harness, chest-friendly
Pickup currently not available
Anyone with a short-haired, low-built dog knows the problem. Most harnesses are built for other body types: they sit on the shoulder, chafe the thin topcoat layer, and for a dog that pulls on the leash with full body effort, the whole thing slips after the second turn.
With a Y-harness, the chest strap runs down the center in front of the sternum instead of across the shoulder. There's an anatomical reason for this: a dog's shoulder blade is suspended by muscles and moves forward with every step. A strap over it brakes exactly this movement. If your dog pulls, the force is distributed to the sternum and rib cage, not to the larynx and trachea.
Fits you if
- your dog pulls or lunges suddenly and you want to relieve the neck
- you have a short-haired dog and are familiar with chafing on the shoulder
- color is important to you, without looking cheap
- you spend a lot of time outdoors in all weather and want the equipment to dry quickly
Does not fit if
- you expect an anti-pull miracle. A harness doesn't train, it only distributes force
- you are looking for a subtle, inconspicuous model. The ethnic pattern is clearly visible
- you need a safety harness for the car. A crash-tested model is required for this
- your dog significantly exceeds or falls short of the measurements below
Data
- Y-shape, shoulder girdle remains free
- 100% polyester, extra strong
- Quick-drying and odor-neutral
- Light gold metal fittings
- Multiple adjustment points, sizes XS to L

Especially for Vizslas
An adult Vizsla usually has a chest circumference between 65 and 80 cm, placing it in size L. Slender females with just under 69 cm can still wear M. The deep chest and narrow waist are more pronounced in this breed than in most others. Therefore, pay particular attention to the back strap: it often sits too loose if everything else fits in the front.
Measure the chest circumference at the deepest point directly behind the front legs while your dog is standing. Two fingers must fit under the tape measure. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one: you can tighten it, but not loosen it further. The breed column is only a guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
My dog is between M and L. What now?
Go by the chest circumference, not the neck. The chest strap bears the load.
How often do I need to readjust?
For adult dogs, after shedding and weight changes. For young dogs, monthly, as the chest grows longer than the shoulder height.
Can my dog slip out?
Not if fitted correctly. Pay special attention to the back strap; it often sits too loose because the waist is narrower than the chest.
Returns?
14 days without justification. Send us the chest measurement beforehand if you are unsure.
