The neck circumference of an adult Vizsla is usually between 40 and 48 cm. Most will therefore fit into size M, while strong males from about 48 cm will more likely fit into L. Please note: The same dog usually fits into L for a harness. The two size ranges are not interchangeable, so it's best to measure both individually.

Place the tape measure where the collar will sit, i.e., slightly above the shoulder and not right behind the ears. Two fingers should fit comfortably underneath.
